What is Home Performance with ENERGY STAR?

Home Performance with ENERGY STAR^® is a program from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy that offers a comprehensive, whole-house approach to improving energy efficiency and comfort of homes, while helping to protect the environment. Oncor has teamed with the national ENERGY STAR program to offer a regional program for customers in its service area.

How Does It Work?

Through the Program, an independent certified contractor will deliver a home performance evaluation and make recommendations for improving its energy efficiency. These specially-trained contractors use state-of-the-art equipment and diagnostic tools to recommend energy efficiency improvements to achieve the best results.

But the home performance evaluation is just the first step. Working with your contractor, you will select the energy-saving improvements that make the most sense for you and your home.

Additionally, Oncor offers eligible customers cash incentives of up to $1,500 or third-party financing* for qualifying energy-saving upgrades.

Eligibility Requirements

Any residential customer located in Oncor’s service area and served by an Oncor electric meter is eligible for the Program.
